Who Are Carers?
A Carer is someone who provides numerous unpaid care and support to the society and our community in every given nations. ACA -Our Volunteer Carer aims to enhance and promote the less privileges in our community ,focusing on their health and well being , emotional, social and financial support needs.
ACA- Carers
are responsible for looking after people who need help due to disability, illness or frailty. We work with both young and old people meeting various needs in their day to day life. ACA workers help in giving life and support to another person in need with shopping, making meals, laundry, dressing, cleaning, washing, and other duties.
OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
ACA-Our Volunteer Carer aims to enhance and promote the less privileges in our community focusing on their health and wellbeing , emotional, social and financial support needs.
In view of the above, African Carer Association was established since 2005 with primary aims and activities that are geared towards a lending hand and supportive programme to any and every disadvantage countries in Africa ; particular in South Africa and Southern Africa, including Angola, Botswana,Swaziland, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
WHO WE CARE FOR?
We care for the following disadvantages people :
- People and family members and person with disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness,
- People with HIV/AIDS ,
- People under alcohol or other drug issue, and or
- The frail and aged People
- People and family under Gender Based Violence
- Nation’s or Communities in Distress by natural disasters or at War zone
- Nation’s or communities affected or under any form of National Epidemic
- Nation’s or communities under Xenophobic Attack
- Nation’s and Communities Orphanages Services
- Nation’s Street and Homeless Families and Children
- Nation’s Refuges
- Any You or every individual that needs any helping hand
