WHO WE ARE: AFRICAN CARER ASSOCIATION ( ACA)?
Welcome to the African Carer Association( ACA ) family, where we Carer for you and the Nations of Africa.
ACA is a registered charity /Non for Profit Organisation since February 2005 with the Department of Social Development under the Charity Non for Profit registration number 036-904 -NPO
Who Are Carers: A Carer is someone who provides numerous unpaid care and support to the society and our community in every given nation.
ACA- Carers are responsible for looking after people who need help due to disability, illness, or frailty. We work with both young and old people meeting various needs in their day to day life. ACA workers help in giving life and support to another person in need of shopping, making meals, laundry, dressing, cleaning, washing, and other duties. ACA-
OUR AIMS & OBJECTIVES ACA
Our Volunteer Carer aims to enhance and promote the fewer privileges in our community, focusing on their health and wellbeing, emotional, social and financial support needs.
In view of the above, African Carer Association was established since 2005 with primary aims and activities that are geared towards a lending hand and supportive program to any and every disadvantage countries in Africa; particular in South Africa and Southern Africa, including Angola, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe,
WHO DO WE CARE FOR?
We care for the following disadvantages people :
- People and family members and the person with a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness.
- People with HIV/AIDS,
- People under alcohol or other drug issues.
- The frail and aged People
- People and family under Gender-Based Violence
- Nation’s or Communities in Distress by natural disasters or at War zone
- Nation’s or communities affected or under any form of National Epidemic
- Nation’s or communities under Xenophobic Attack
- Nation’s and Communities Orphanages Services
- Nation’s Street and Homeless Families and Children
- Nation’s Refuges
- Any You or every individual that needs any helping hand
ACA Accountability:
ACA runs and open accountabilities to any donor, whereby we give such donor our monthly report and substantial evidence of the donor’s contribution
