OUR TERMS AND CONDITION
- The parties record that the Terms and Conditions as contained in the African Carer website form part of and are incorporated in this Agreement. The Terms and Conditions referred to are subject to change from time to time. In the event of African Carer contemplating any change to the Terms and Conditions, then African Carer undertakes to give the 7 (SEVEN) days written notice of such change.
- African Carer and/or the Bank are entitled to request, all the Transaction documents which show that a Customer has authorised a specific Transaction, and the Merchant will furnish such documents to African Carer and/or the Bank within 7 (SEVEN) days of the request.
- The Merchant is prohibited from allowing any other party access to the Services through the Merchant’s merchant number with African Carer.
- The Merchant shall be responsible and liable for each Terminal-ID and each one will be governed by this Agreement.
- The Merchant may not at any time use the Services in contravention of any law, nor in contravention of any obligation imposed by the Merchant as between the Merchant and any Bank.
- The Merchant acknowledges that African Carer does not assume any responsibilities the Merchant may have under any agreement concluded between the Merchant and any Bank.
- The Merchant hereby agrees to display the African Carer logo, including a link to the African Carer website, on any website used by the Merchant to accept transactions destined for processing by African Carer donor Privacy policy
African Carer shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). - Payment options acceptedPayment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the African Carer bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
- Card acquiring and security.Card transactions will be acquired for African Carer via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
- Customer details separate from card detailsCustomer details will be stored by African Carer separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO Pay Gate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
- Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency. The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
- ResponsibilityAfrican Carer takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
- Country of domicilethis website is governed by the laws of South Africa and African Carer chooses as its domicilecitadelETexecutant for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
- African Carer may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
- This website is run by African Carer close corporation based in South Africa trading as African Carer and Dr Tau Ogunlade as a founder.
ACA Accountability:
ACA runs and open accountabilities to any donor, whereby we give such donor our monthly report and substantial evidence of the donor’s contribution
